Me
I am Pierre Tardif, the man responsible of all those period
sign painting. I have soon discovered an interest for sign
painting when, as a kid, I used to hang at the local stock-car
race track admiring the hand painted numbers & sponsors
on the racing cars, then trying to copy the lettering on my
soapbox

As a teenagers I continue to learn the trade painting
signs for local businesses. I opened my sign shop
at 18 years old in 1988. My passion for the traditional
part of the sign business lead me to attend many
letterheads meet around north america. It also
lead me to gives seminars on hand lettering, antique
signs and history of signpainters at sign trade
shows. |

I also had the opportunity to work for TV shows and movie
productions for designing and producing period signs. So whatever
it is for recreating your grandfather garage sign or giving
your movie the mood of yesteryear or simply decorating your
living room,
